The game's official website is also streaming three more character videos for Gustaf (played by Kenta Miyake), Sophie (Ami Koshimizu), and Ema (Kana Hanazawa). Imageepoch posted character videos for Valter (Tomokazu Sigita), Istvan (Akio Ohtsuka), and Littler (Miyuki Sawashiro) in May.
Sol Trigger will include turn-based battles and multiple difficulty modes. The game's story centers on warriors who release their souls and make miracles. The artist Shuji Sogabe (God Eater, Persona 3, Persona 4 manga) is designing the characters based on the original scenario by Kazushige Nojima(Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts). The disc version of Sol Trigger will cost 6,279 yen (about US$78), while the downloadable version will cost 5,600 yen (US$70).
Imageepoch will release the game for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on October 4 after delaying the game from its original release date of August 30. The company will release a free demo for the game in July.
